A workplace CSA can be a great addition to any business’s wellness program.
Pickup is made easy, as we deliver weekly (the same day each week) directly to your workplace. We include all of the weekly shares as well as a sign-in sheet to use when picking up shares. Two days prior to each pickup, we email all shareholders a newsletter that includes the week’s expected share contents, various farmer news, recipes and any other exciting happenings within the Lancaster Farm Fresh community. On the day of pickup, we email members the exact contents of the shares. This email also serves as a reminder that it’s pickup day.
Our CSA can be found in many workplaces within our region and these workplace locations alone now reach over 500 members. We place great value on building strong relationships with all of our CSA locations and members.
Friends Select School (Philadelphia, PA)
“Friend Select School has offered a CSA share to staff and families through LFFC for the past six seasons. It is a tangible way we can show our commitment to the health and well-being of our community. From the first season onward we have built a devoted and ever growing membership who value a healthy diet, benefit from the convenience, and enjoy the possibility of learning about new produce varieties.
It is obvious that LFFC takes their responsibility to provide fresh quality organic produce delivered on time very seriously. We have never been disappointed in their offerings and look forward to a long partnership.”
Alcoa North American Rolled Products (Lancaster, PA)
“Having the Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative program direct-delivered to our workplace here at Alcoa has been an amazing experience. The participants are excited every single week to receive their CSA shares and that excitement overflows to other coworkers who then check out the boxes every week to see what the excitement is about. We have tried fruits, vegetables, and even meats that we’ve never tried before (by the way, bison is pretty darned good). Many of the shareholders pick up their shares during their lunch break and it has become a time of fun social conversation, exchanges of recipes, and Google searches (to find out what a particular mystery item is). This program has positively impacted the eating habits of many of these members which is a high mark for our health and wellness initiative here at Alcoa. We cannot express enough how wonderful this program is and how much it has exceeded our expectations. The amount of vegetables packed into every box is more than enough for meals for the week and we usually have to find creative ways to use it all.”
Henry Schein (Denver, Pa)
“Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC) offers a high quality program that complimented our wellness initiatives. Starting the program was an easy administrative process. LFFC has great member support that has been able to quickly answer our questions. Overall the program has provided our staff the ability to enhance their involvement in nutrition and wellness.”
