The boston butt has a bit more fat than the shoulder roast and tends to do better when smoked as the extra fat helps keeps things moist and delicious.
When it comes to meat, our farmers take the same care in raising their animals as they do their vegetables. Our pork comes from heritage breed hogs that are fully pastured with absolutely no added hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs. All LFFC meat items are packed frozen.
