Description
Our turkeys are pasture-raised on three of our farms in Lancaster County, where they roam freely, forage on grass and insects, and enjoy plenty of space to grow naturally. Our flocks consist of fewer than 800 birds, allowing our small family farmers to give them individual care and attention—far different from the crowded conditions of large-scale factory farms, where flocks can number in the thousands.
Our meticulous level of care and commitment to quality is a difference you can truly taste, coming through in the tender, rich flavor of the turkey.
Because our turkeys are processed fresh, the exact weight of your turkey will be determined in the days leading up to delivery. Weight ranges may vary depending on the overall size of the flock and conditions of the season. If you have a definitive minimum or maximum weight required, please email us at CSA@lancasterfarmfresh.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
